About Our Site

Welcome to GoRiLL@Z South. This is where Luke Lewis blogs, comments, muses and otherwise pontificates about technology, media, gaming and similar topics. I tend to cover these things based more on the darker side of comedy and sanity. Grab some coffee, tea or other beverage drop in, feel free to contribute via the comments!

Gorill@Z South has been around in many different ways since 2000. It all started off as a small game server hosted out of my bedroom closet back in 2000, with only one member. It grew through the last decade to encompass having the #1 set of KZ servers thanks to many people, and the #1 Battlefield Vietnam server to name just a few “accomplishments”. During the growing of the website, web hosting, server hosting, game server, community, etc. I established myself as being quite up front about how I felt about the news…..any news, sometimes things that weren’t even covered in the news!

However starting in 2008 the community started seeing a decline in game server and forums members and it was time for a change. Over the past couple of years I have ‘blogged’ (I hate that word) about different subjects for the handful of people that still come here. Now I have decided to tear down the wall and open up a full blog “community” that isn’t geared towards gaming particularly. So welcome to the “new” site. I will be adding things when I get time. So welcome and enjoy your stay…..or get out. One of the two.
